Abena Zinc Paste with 40% zinc oxide has a drying and protective effect on the skin, and is particularly suitable for use around wound edges. Zinc oxide helps soothe dry and red skin.
Abena Zinc Paste leaves a protective barrier on the skin and minimizes contact with liquids and feces. The zinc paste can be used for people at risk of developing incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) and/or for people at risk of developing bedsores. Can also be used on babies with nappy rash. The ointment adds moisture to the skin as it contains allantoin which soothes the skin.
For daily skin care/rebuilding the skin. Can be used often. Apply and gently rub in a thin layer. Particularly suitable for application at wound edges to protect the surrounding skin from wound fluid. This product may only be used externally on the body. Avoid contact with eyes.
